Not one Sector 79 project we looked at publishes its moving rules, which means your shifting-day rules are set by whoever runs your block at the time: the developer's facility team in a project still being handed over, or a residents' body once one has taken charge. What is published sits outside the gate, in the national real-estate law and in dated notices about the roads a truck uses to reach the sector.
Below we go project by project, then through the road works and pollution rules that can move a booked date. For how we size the crew and vehicle for this sector, see our Sector 79 packers and movers page.
Who approves a move in each Sector 79 project?
It depends on how far along your project is. Sector 79 holds a finished tower society, a large low-rise estate in the middle of its handover, and a project still under construction.
| Project | Stage, with source | Whom to ask | Moving rules online (17 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Godrej Aria | Six towers, possession listed from December 2022 (Godrej Properties) | The facility office, or the residents' association if maintenance has passed to one | None found |
| M3M Antalya Hills | Occupancy certificate received and possession begun, per M3M's note of March 2026 | M3M's handover or facility desk | None found |
| M3M Golf Hills | Under construction, two phases registered with HARERA in 2023 and 2024 (M3M) | M3M's customer team | Not yet relevant |
"None found" means only that a search turned up nothing published. An office may still keep a form or a printed notice at the desk, so ask for a copy by email rather than relying on what a guard remembers on the day.
What changes in an estate that is still being handed over?
Antalya Hills is where most Sector 79 move-ins are happening now. In its March 2026 announcement, M3M described the estate as 33 acres of low-rise homes, 2,540 in all, with only four apartments in each building. In July 2026 NBM&CW reported that close to 1,000 homes were due to be handed over in the first phase.
That shapes a moving day in four ways:
- Many households, one office. When hundreds of families take keys in the same season, popular dates go first. Ask how slots are given out, and book the day only once the office has confirmed it.
- Interior contractors on the same roads. New owners bring carpenters, painters and material lorries. Ask which gate takes household goods and whether contractor deliveries have set hours, then plan loading around them.
- A low-rise block, not a tower. With four flats to a building, check whether yours has a lift, how large its car and door are, and how wide the stairs turn. Tell us at the survey, so the crew is sized for a carry by hand if needed.
- Possession before goods. Carry the possession letter on the day. The national law also sets a deadline for taking possession after the occupancy certificate; our Sector 80 rules guide explains it, so we do not repeat it here.
At Golf Hills, the same questions will apply later. Possession dates given by listing sites for that project disagree with each other, so rely on the HARERA page for your phase rather than a brochure.
Who runs the services before an association takes over?
The developer does. The 2016 RERA law settles this: its Section 11(4)(d) keeps the promoter responsible for essential services, at reasonable charges, until the buyers' association takes over upkeep. In practice that means M3M's office decides gate passes and lift or stair rules at Antalya Hills for now.
At Godrej Aria, possession began years ago, so maintenance may already sit with a residents' body. We found no public record either way. Ask which office signs moving permissions before you book. How the handover of common areas works is set out in our Sector 68 rules guide.
Which road works could change your route in late 2026?
Three dated items touch the roads into Sector 79. Each could change between now and your moving date.
| Road | What was reported | Status we could confirm by 17 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Naurangpur to Rampura Chowk link | Cleared on 22 July 2026 for a six-lane rebuild; work expected from the first week of August, for about two years (Business Today) | No report of work starting found |
| NH-48 service lane toward Jaipur, from below the Rampura Chowk flyover | Shut on 18 August 2026 for drain works, with reopening due on 15 October (The Tribune) | No report of reopening or extension found |
| Elevated Southern Peripheral Road | Bids invited on 1 October 2026 for 4.23 km from Vatika Chowk to the NH-48 cloverleaf, Rs 776 crore, 30 months from award; bids close 18 November (Swarajya) | Tender stage; no work on the ground |
What this means for a booking: the Naurangpur link could be dug up in stretches at any point over the next two years, the service lane may or may not be open again, and the SPR side will become a work zone once the elevated road is awarded. Check the traffic police's advisories in the week of the move; we recheck the approach a few days before loading. For how the narrow link road affects vehicle size and cost, see our Sector 79 costs and access guide.
Which hours and seasons limit a goods vehicle?
Two kinds of hours apply, and neither is printed for Sector 79 itself.
The society's hours. No project here publishes them. Ask for the earliest arrival, the latest departure, and whether Sundays and public holidays are allowed. Gurugram's no-entry hours for goods vehicles are listed in our costs guide linked above.
The pollution season. From October, the Graded Response Action Plan can tighten rules across the NCR. Careerindia reported on 15 October 2026 that a revised GRAP schedule had been notified on 29 September 2026, and that no stage was in force at 11:30 am that day. The higher stages are the ones that reach goods vehicles: a CAQM order from January 2026, summarised in our Sector 110 rules guide, shows how Stage IV treated trucks entering Delhi. If you are moving from Sector 79 into Delhi this winter, read that section, then check the CAQM website the week before.
What papers should you have ready?
None of these is a published Sector 79 rule. They are simply the papers a gate or an office may ask to see, so keep them in one folder:
- Owners: the possession letter, plus any move-in form the facility desk issues.
- Tenants: the rent agreement, a note from the owner to the office, and proof that police verification has been filed. Our Sector 79 newcomer guide explains how to file it.
- Moving out: a receipt showing maintenance dues are cleared, if the office asks for one before signing the gate pass.
- The vehicle: ask whether the guards want the truck's registration number in advance, and pass it on once the booking is fixed.
Which questions should go to the office first?
About seven days before the move, put these in writing, by email or on the society app, and keep the replies:
- To do: Who signs moving permissions now: the developer's team or a residents' body?
- To do: Which days and hours are allowed, and is there a waiting list for move-in slots?
- To do: Which gate takes household goods, and where may a truck stand while loading?
- To do: Does the building have a lift? If so, can it be reserved, and how large is the car?
- To do: Do contractor deliveries have fixed hours that clash with your slot?
- To do: Does the office hold a deposit for lift or wall damage, and when is it returned?
- To do: For a move out: must dues be cleared before the pass is issued?
- To do: Tenants: does the owner need to write to the office as well?
What happens when the two offices allow different hours?
The stricter office decides the plan. Packing can happen the day before, with loading kept inside its slot. If a new Antalya Hills or Golf Hills home is handed over later than promised, your packed things can be held at our warehouse until you have the keys. Our Sector 86 branch is the nearest office, and the New Gurgaon sectors guide covers the neighbouring sectors and roads.
Once both offices have answered, share their replies and the two addresses with us and we can fix the timings.
We read each source listed here on 17 October 2026. Treat this page as general information, not legal advice: project circulars, traffic advisories and pollution orders change often, so check the current position with your facility office, Gurugram traffic police and CAQM before the move.
