Moving In or Out of Sector 50: Society Rules, Permissions and Timings

Sector 50 has no single society rulebook for shifting: the sector is split between several estates, and of these only the Nirvana Country RWA puts its rules online, so at the towers, Rosewood City and the W Block floors the estate office or landlord gives permission on request. Over all of them sit city rules with dates attached: police verification at the station covering your address, the hours when goods vehicles may use the roads, and, for a move between November and January, the air-pollution curbs that can keep an older truck out of Delhi.

Who gives permission at a Sector 50 address?

Whoever runs your estate, and Sector 50 has five kinds. On its Eros City Square page, Eros describes Rosewood City as a 115-acre township spread over Sectors 49 and 50, where families live in two villa enclaves (Rosewood Villas and Grand Mansions) and in two tower complexes, Wembley Estate and Wembley Premium. Unitech places Nirvana Country across Sectors 50 and 51. The rest is smaller: Block W of South City II, where DPS International gives its address, and Pocket C of Mayfield Garden, which Baani Group names for Baani Square.

"None found" means only that no rules were posted where a resident or a mover could read them on that date. Guards will still ask questions at the gate, so the answers need to come from the office before the truck is booked.

How do you get rules that are not written down?

Ask for them in a message you can keep. A short note to the office, a week or more before the date, saves an argument at the gate. Include:

• the flat, villa or floor number, and whether you are leaving or arriving;
• the date and a two-hour arrival window for the truck;
• the truck's registration number and the number of crew, once the mover gives them;
• a request for the lift, the loading spot and the hours you may use them;
• a question about any fee, deposit or clearance of dues, and how a deposit is refunded.

If the reply comes by phone, send back a one-line summary, "As discussed, Tuesday 10 am to 4 pm, service lift B", so both sides have the same record. Moving between two Sector 50 estates? Then send the note to both offices, because each controls its own gate.

Which police station takes your tenant verification?

The one that covers your address, which is not always the one with your sector's name. Gurugram Police's verification page, read on 28 October 2026, tells residents to download the form for a tenant, servant or employee, submit it with documents at the concerned police station, keep a copy and pass another copy to the RWA president. The same page links an online application. Haryana Police has issued digitally signed verification certificates through its HarSamay portal since February 2020, The Tribune reported at the time.

There is a station named after the sector. A UNI report of 7 September 2026 mentions banks in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sector 50, alongside DLF Sector 29 and Sadar. Back in September 2023, The Tribune said the Sector 50 station would get a new building at a different site, so the address you find in an old directory may not be where the desk is now. The police website lists station jurisdictions; check yours there before you travel.

For a move in, the owner normally files the verification, and for a move out the landlord will want the keys, meter reading and any dues settled. Settle who does what in the rent agreement.

What changes for a move between November and January?

Two sets of winter rules, both dated, and both mainly about trucks leaving Gurugram for Delhi.

When can the truck use the roads around the sector?

Outside two daily spells. The traffic police's Digi Pass note, which carries no date and which we read again on GMDA's site on 28 October 2026, closes listed roads to commercial vehicles during the morning rush, 8–10 am, and the evening one, 5–9 pm. Sector 50 sits between Golf Course Extension Road and Sohna Road, so a loaded truck joins one of them within minutes of leaving the gate, and both are main roads where the spells matter.

Inside the gates, the estate can be stricter. The tower and township offices that publish nothing may still work only office hours, so ask before you plan a Saturday or an early start.

Which civic rules reach moving day?

Two municipal orders touch a household move, if your address lies within the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram's limits.

Pets. The municipal commissioner's order on dogs, covered by Amar Ujala in its Gurugram pages on 24 June 2026, took effect at once: each pet dog in the corporation's area is to be registered, and the registration renewed periodically. The paper's summary lists the owner's identity proof, a photo and an anti-rabies certificate for the application, which goes through an online portal or an MCG service centre, and a leash whenever the dog is out. Do it before the move, since a new estate office may ask for proof.

Packing waste. Cartons, thermocol and broken furniture belong with a scrap dealer, not on a green belt. MCG enforces this: over three months its sanitation squad fined 210 people a combined Rs 30 lakh for dumping where they should not, according to a Tribune report of 12 March 2025.

What should you settle, and with whom, before booking?

• To do: Your estate office: days, hours, lift, loading spot, fee or deposit, in a message

• To do: The landlord: notice period, deposit return, who files police verification
• To do: Police verification at the station covering the new address, with a copy for the RWA
• To do: Dog registration with MCG, if you have one
• To do: The truck's arrival between 10 am and 5 pm, clear of the no-entry spells
• To do: For a Delhi move after 1 November, the truck's emission class and fuel
• To do: Where cartons and packing waste will go afterwards

Do these rules change the price?

They change the timing more than the band. The owner's October 2026 indications, shown on our Gurgaon page, run for a move that stays in the city from Rs 4,500 (smallest one-bedroom) to Rs 15,000 (largest three-bedroom), a two-bedroom home falling at Rs 8,000–12,500. Going to Delhi instead, one bedroom costs Rs 7,000–8,000; two, Rs 10,000–13,500; three, Rs 14,000–16,500. A short estate window, a long carry from a far gate or a truck change for a winter Delhi run can push a job towards the top of its band.
