Nirvana Country's residents' association has written rules that touch a house move, but none written for one. The two that matter most are a 2019 security procedure, which keeps trucks and lorries out and allows furniture deliveries on weekdays from 9 am to 6 pm, and a 2015 notice that admits building-material vehicles on six days, Monday to Saturday, between 9 am and 6 pm; both are years old, so confirm with the RWA in writing which applies to you.
This guide sets out each paper with its date, what it says, who gives permission and the questions to settle before the day. It sticks to rules and timings. For prices and crew hours, see our Nirvana Country costs and access post; for how we pack a villa, our Nirvana Country packers and movers page.
Which written rules apply to a move in Nirvana Country?
Five documents, all on the RWA's website. Its Society Rules page lists what the association has published, and every entry carries an upload date between November 2019 and October 2021. The ones a move runs into:
| Document | Dated | What it covers for a move | Read it as |
|---|---|---|---|
| Security procedure by the facility contractor, Nimbus | In force from 1 March 2019 | Trucks, deliveries, delivery vans, labour and contractor entry, parking, speed | The gate's rulebook; check whether it has been revised |
| Construction and renovation notice | 12 March 2015 | Heavy-vehicle hours, 10-tyre ban, work hours, noise, deposits | Written for building work, not moves |
| Terms and conditions | Read with bills of 7 January 2019 | The move-out NOC, police registration, dues | Still the only written exit step we found |
| Domestic-help rules | Uploaded 12 November 2019 | Passes, house changes, notice periods | Matters if your help moves with you |
| Deposit refund guidelines | Uploaded 12 November 2019 | Getting a renovation deposit back | Only if you renovated |
One more fact frames all of them. A January 2026 notice from Unitech records that control of the colony moved to the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram in 2020, after most of these papers were written. The papers are still posted on the RWA's site, but nothing there says how the association applies them today. That is why every rule below carries its date, and why the answer that counts is the one the RWA gives you in writing.
What do the two time windows say, and which one applies?
They overlap on weekdays and differ on Saturdays:
| 2019 security procedure | 2015 construction notice | |
|---|---|---|
| Written for | Deliveries of furniture, appliances and the like | Vehicles carrying construction material |
| Days | Monday to Friday | Monday to Saturday |
| Hours | 9 am to 6 pm | 9 am to 6 pm |
| Vehicles | Trucks and lorries not allowed in; delivery vans unload at a designated area | No heavy vehicle outside those hours; 10-tyre vehicles not allowed at all |
| Who coordinates | The management office | The RWA |
A household move is neither a delivery nor building work, so neither window was drafted with it in mind. A move-in does bring furniture and appliances through the gate, which is closest to the 2019 wording. The 2015 limits are a useful guide to what the gates expect of large vehicles, which is why our area page checks with the RWA whether they apply to a moving truck before a slot is fixed.
The city adds its own limit. Gurugram's traffic police add a limit of their own: an undated Digi Pass note on GMDA's site shuts listed roads to commercial vehicles in the morning rush, 8–10 am, and again in the evening, 5–9 pm. Put all three together and the window that satisfies every paper is a weekday, between about 10 am and 5 pm. That leaves a short day for a large villa, which is one reason a bigger home may be packed one day and loaded the next.
Confirm with the RWA in writing before you fix a date: which of the two windows applies to a household move, whether Saturday is allowed, and what size of vehicle may come to your block.
Who gives permission, and how do you ask?
Two offices share the job, and the papers name them separately:
- The management office. The 2019 procedure says deliveries to residents must be cleared through security and the management office, and that furniture deliveries are coordinated with it. This is the estate team run by the facility contractor. The RWA's escalation matrix lists its helpdesk as staffed round the clock, with security, technical and customer-relations contacts behind it.
- The RWA office. The association's website gives its hours as 10 am to 6 pm, every day. It issues the move-out NOC described in the 2019 terms: ready seven days after you apply, once dues are paid and, for a tenant, the landlord has given an NOC. Our Sohna Road moving guide explains that step, and the police registration rule beside it, in more detail.
The 2019 procedure also explains what the gate does with the people who come with a move. Contractors and their staff are to register with the management office and sign the guardhouse logbook; temporary labour enters with the security supervisor's permission; contractor passes are handed in at the gate against a head count. None of this names a moving crew, but it shows what the guards are used to asking for. Send the crew's names, the vehicle number and the date to the management office in advance, and ask whether the crew needs passes.
What happens to your domestic help when you move?
The RWA has a separate rulebook for part-time help, and a move triggers three parts of it:
- Notice. The rules ask a resident to give a part-timer seven days' notice before ending the work, and a part-timer to give a week's notice before leaving. If you are moving out of the colony, tell your help at least a week before the date.
- House changes and additions. A help's pass is tied to the houses where they work. For a "house change", the rules ask the help to bring a no-objection note from the previous employer; to add a house, written consent from the employer who had the pass made. If your help will follow you to another address inside Nirvana, ask the RWA office which of these steps applies.
- Pass days. Passes are made on Thursdays from 11:30 am to 1 pm, with tokens handed out from 9 to 9:30 that morning. A new help may enter for one week on a copy of an address proof stamped by the RWA office, and the pass is made after that.
If you are moving in and taking on new help, the 2019 terms also require police registration of domestic helps and drivers, which the owner applies for and copies to the RWA. The help rules point to the Haryana Police website for registering online.
Can you drill, fit and repair in the first week?
Quiet work, yes. Noisy work, on weekdays only, if the 2015 notice is applied to you. That notice:
- bars all construction and renovation work on Sundays and public holidays;
- bars pounding, hammering, grinding and other loud work at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and after 6 pm on any day;
- sets working hours of 8 am to 7 pm;
- requires every worker to carry an RWA pass.
Hanging a television or fixing curtain rails is not renovation, but it is noisy, so ask the RWA how it treats a carpenter or electrician in unpacking week. Book them for a weekday afternoon to be safe.
A real renovation is a separate process. The 2015 notice asks for an RWA no-objection certificate before work starts and a refundable deposit, Rs 25,000 for renovation and Rs 50,000 for construction at that date. Getting it back involves a site check, a dues check and sign-off by office-bearers, according to the refund guidelines, so allow time if you renovated before moving out.
What should the driver know once inside the gates?
The procedure sets a 20 km/h speed limit inside the premises, tells drivers to follow the posted direction signs, and allows vehicles to park only in authorised, marked places. Three recent reports from the residents' newsletter Samvada Broadcast are worth passing on too:
- Road works. On 30 May 2026 the ward councillor inaugurated three municipal projects for the colony: a 24-metre road to be developed as a model road, trenchless pipes on the Southern Peripheral Road for waterlogging, and cleaning of the main sewer, the newsletter reported.
- A stalled stretch. On 16 July 2026 a resident wrote that re-carpeting of the Nirvana Central road had stood still for over two months, leaving dust and potholes that mostly affected Espace. Ask the RWA whether the approach to your block is open and surfaced.
- Peafowl. On 12 October 2026 a resident asked drivers to slow down because peahens were crossing internal roads with their chicks, especially near bends and green areas.
For the rainy season, our Sector 50 monsoon guide collects the waterlogging reports for the sector.
Do the towers follow the same rules?
Not necessarily. Fresco, Harmony and The Close North and South are group-housing towers inside the township, and we found no moving rules from any of them online in October 2026. A tower flat brings a lift booking and its own move hours, set by that tower's office, as our area page notes. Ask the tower office for its rules, and ask the RWA whether its gate rules apply on top. If you are choosing between Nirvana Country and the neighbouring township, our Nirvana Country vs Malibu Towne comparison sets out both sets of resident bodies.
What should you ask the RWA in writing?
Email the RWA office and copy the management office. Keep the replies:
- To do: For a household move, which window applies: the 2019 weekday one or the 2015 Monday-to-Saturday one?
- To do: Is the no-truck clause still in force, and what is the largest vehicle allowed to my block?
- To do: Where is the designated unloading area for my block, and how far is it from my door?
- To do: Does the crew need passes, or is a list of names with the vehicle number enough?
- To do: For move-out: when can I apply for the NOC, and what dues must be clear first?
- To do: Can my domestic help's pass be changed to the new house, and on which Thursday?
- To do: May a carpenter or electrician drill on the Saturday after we arrive?
- To do: For a tower flat: does the tower office set its own hours as well?
Key takeaway
Nirvana Country's written move rules are a 2019 security procedure and a 2015 building notice. A weekday between 10 am and 5 pm satisfies both and the city's truck hours, but the papers are dated, so get the RWA's current answer in writing.
When you have the RWA's answers, send them to us with your preferred date; what a full-home move covers is set out on our household shifting page.
This guide is general information, drawn from the RWA papers and reports named above as they stood in October 2026. RWA rules, gate practice and traffic orders change, so check each point with the RWA, the management office and the traffic police before acting on it.
