House shifting that starts or ends in Dwarka Sector 19 is priced after a survey for any move inside Delhi, because Maxx Relocation publishes no bands for Delhi-to-Delhi moves; for a home coming in from Gurgaon, the bands the owner set in October 2026 begin at Rs 7,000 for a 1 BHK and top out at Rs 16,500 for a 3 BHK. What moves the figure most in Sector 19 is the home itself, which can be anything from a compact pocket flat to a six-bedroom villa or a Golf View penthouse, and from 1 November Delhi's truck rules decide which vehicle may bring the goods in.

Sector 19's pockets, landmarks and society paperwork are on the page we keep for packers and movers in Dwarka Sector 19. This post stays with money, time and access: what we can price before a visit, which homes need the most crew hours, and the dated rules that set when a truck may arrive.

What can be priced before anyone sees the home?

Only the common sizes, and only on one route. The owner publishes indicative bands for three things alone: moves inside Gurgaon, moves from Gurgaon to other cities and vehicles by distance. These are the ones that apply to Sector 19, as listed on our Delhi packers and movers page:

Route (October 2026) 1 BHK 2 BHK 3 BHK 4 BHK, villa or penthouse
Gurgaon into Sector 19 Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000 Rs 10,000 to Rs 13,500 Rs 14,000 to Rs 16,500 Survey and written quote
Sector 19 to another Delhi address Survey Survey Survey Survey
Sector 19 out to Gurgaon Survey Survey Survey Survey

A car or a bike travelling with the household is banded by distance. For a car the band is Rs 9,000 to Rs 11,500 on a trip of up to 50 km; a bike over the same distance is Rs 3,000 to Rs 7,000, sent through our car transport service.

The right-hand column matters more here than in most of Dwarka. Plenty of Sector 19 homes are bigger than a 3 BHK, and a band built for an ordinary flat would mislead you. For those, the price follows the rooms, the heavy pieces and the floors, and we put it in writing after the survey.

Why do Sector 19 homes vary so much in crew hours?

Because the sector mixes very different housing in one postcode. Four examples show the range:

Home What the listings say Where the hours go What we check at the survey
Pocket 3, Akshar Dham (MIG and expandable) Dwarka Homes lists 2 BHK flats of about 800 sq ft, 3 BHK of 1,200 sq ft and 4 BHK of 1,500 sq ft, plus 4 and 6 BHK villas Rooms added to an expandable flat; each extra bedroom usually means another wardrobe and bed Which rooms were added and what is in them
Villa in the same pocket Four or six bedrooms on its own plot Packing time, not carrying: many rooms of contents to wrap Whether a one-day or two-day plan is realistic
Golf View Condo, Sector 19B 11 towers (Hindustan Times via NAREDCO, May 2024) of HIG, Super HIG and penthouse flats (DDA circular, March 2025) Lift trips from upper floors Which lift goods may use and whether it can be held
Cooperative society flat, 19A or Phase II Four plots in 19A and fourteen in Phase II, from The Delhi Estate on Plot 1 of 19A to Sea Show on Plot 14 of Phase II (Dwarka Homes) Society lift rules and the gate register The committee's booking process and timing

Crew hours are spent in three places: packing the contents, carrying them to the truck and taking furniture apart where it will not travel whole. A six-bedroom villa is mostly a packing job, so a larger team or a second day helps. A high Golf View flat is mostly a lift job, so a held lift helps more than extra hands. A walk-up pocket flat is a stairs job, and every carton goes down on foot.

That is also why two quotes for "a 4 BHK in Sector 19" can differ widely. One may be a 1,500 sq ft flat; another may be a villa with far more furniture. Tell us the kind of home, not only the number of bedrooms.

Two addresses in one pocket: Golf View and Tower M

Some Golf View owners may have a second, smaller flat to furnish nearby. A DDA circular of 10 March 2025 offered 364 EWS flats in Tower M of Sector 19B, through a scheme named for community service personnel, only to owners of HIG, Super HIG and penthouse flats in Golf View Condo. The circular gives each flat an approximate plinth area of 50 sq m, common area included, and counts more than 1,100 eligible owners for the 364 flats, so each buyer may take only one.

The circular also says a Tower M flat is handed over only after the possession letter for the buyer's Golf View flat has been issued. If you hold both, check both handover dates before you book. When both flats are ready on the same day, tell us at the survey: we will look at both addresses in one visit and say whether a single truck and crew can serve them, or whether the smaller load is better as a separate trip.

Where does the truck stand, and how far is the carry?

As near the door as the building and the lane allow, because every metre on foot is paid for twice: once out of the old home and once into the new one.

  • Golf View towers. The question is the lift, not the road. Ask whoever runs your tower which lift goods may use and whether it can be kept for your loading slot; a lift shared with residents adds waiting to every trip.
  • Walk-up pocket blocks. Often the truck stops in the open space between blocks. We measure the stair turns at the survey, so a long sofa or a double bed is dismantled upstairs, not on the landing.
  • Villas. The truck can usually stand close to the gate, but a villa's door widths, a staircase to upper rooms and any garden furniture decide how long loading takes.
  • Lanes at the sector's edge. If one end of the move is on the village side, a full-size truck may not fit. A smaller vehicle then shuttles to the big one, and those shuttle runs add hours. We say so in the quote when it is likely.

When may the truck drive into Delhi this winter?

Delhi's rules, not the building, decide this. These are the dated points that apply to a Sector 19 move:

Date What applies Source
All year A goods vehicle that runs during the hours Delhi restricts must hold a No Entry Permission. Long-term permits for a year or three months are applied for online; a permit for up to seven days is requested in writing from the DCP Traffic (HQ) office at Todapur. Circular No. 149 of 31 December 2025 kept 2025 stickers valid until the 2026 annual permission was decided Delhi Traffic Police FAQ; Circular No. 149
Up to 31 October 2026 Goods vehicles registered outside Delhi need BS-VI, CNG, LNG or electric power; BS-IV vehicles have had a year's grace, which ends on this date WION, 30 September 2026
From 1 November 2026 until 31 January 2027 Non-BS-VI vehicles with registrations from outside Delhi are kept out; CNG and electric vehicles are exempt, and fuel pumps serve only vehicles holding a valid pollution certificate The Hindu, 28 Sep 2026
Whenever Stage III or IV of the pollution plan is in force CAQM's revised schedule puts the entry curb on light and medium diesel goods vehicles of BS-IV or older, registered outside Delhi, under Stage III, and heavier trucks under Stage IV, with no exemption for essential goods WION, 30 September 2026

Neither the FAQ nor the circular lists the hours Delhi restricts. Find out from your mover if the truck holds a valid permit; without one, it has to drive outside those hours. For a move from Gurgaon, the emission class matters most, because a Gurgaon truck may well have Haryana registration. We found no report of an extension to the 31 October cut-off by 22 October 2026; check the latest before the day. Routes and papers for crossing the border are in our Delhi and Gurgaon moving guide.

Can winter rules make a move into a renovated flat cost more?

They can, through waiting. The Hindu's report on Delhi's winter plan says dust-generating demolition and outdoor civil construction are barred from 1 November 2026 to 31 January 2027, with a complete stop to construction and demolition from 10 December 2026 to 20 January 2027. If you meant to break a wall, relay floors or rebuild a kitchen in the Sector 19 flat before moving in, check whether your work falls under those bans; if it stops, your goods have to wait somewhere.

That waiting time has a price. Our warehouse storage is charged by space and time and quoted separately from the move, so ask for both together if the renovation date is uncertain. Moving in first and finishing the work after January is the other option.

What can you do to shorten the day?

Small steps at home save crew hours:

  • Empty and pack the rooms you rarely use, such as a guest room or a store, in the days before.
  • In an expandable flat or a villa, mark which furniture stays behind with the house.
  • Measure the largest pieces against the door and the lift at the new address, and tell us what does not fit.
  • Book the lift at both ends for the whole loading slot, not just the start.
  • Keep the space in front of the gate or stairwell clear of cars on the morning.

Since no crew works on a Sunday, a villa that needs two days is packed on one working day and loaded on the next. The Sector 19 area page names our Dwarka branch as the nearest office: Shop No. 204 in Kartar Nagar, Dwarka Sector 12, New Delhi (PIN 110078).

What details get you a firm quote?

  • To do: Both full addresses: pocket, plot or tower, block, flat or house number, and whether it is Sector 19, 19A or 19B
  • To do: The kind of home at each end: pocket flat, expandable flat, villa, society flat or Golf View tower
  • To do: Floor numbers at both ends, and whether a lift can be booked and held
  • To do: Heavy or delicate items, such as a large fridge, a marble-top table or a piano
  • To do: Any renovation planned at the new home, and its dates
  • To do: A car or bike to send as well, and the date you prefer

Send the details through our contact page and we will arrange a survey. To compare Sector 19 with other Dwarka sectors, read our Dwarka sectors guide.
