Moving to Sector 43: A Newcomer's Guide for Families and Renters

Moving to Sector 43 can mean four quite different homes: a floor in Sushant Lok 1, a flat in one of the cooperative and welfare societies in the HUDA part, a tower flat in DLF Phase 5, or a flat in the Power Grid township. Find out which one you are taking before anything else, because the side of the sector you live on decides your nearest metro line and which office handles your move-in paperwork.

The sector lies between Golf Course Road and Millennium City Centre, and most daily needs are within about 1.5 km of its centre point. This guide covers what is specific to Sector 43; the colony-level detail for Sushant Lok 1 and DLF Phase 5 is in their own guides. Which Sector 43 are you moving into?

Look at the sector's outline on OpenStreetMap and it breaks into these parts:

Offices sit inside the sector too. Square Yards' Sector 43 project list includes DLF Horizon Center, Unitech Trade Centre and Global Foyer, so for some residents the office is a walk away.

What are the society flats like?

Many are flats in societies run by their own members. Square Yards counted 48 projects in the sector, and many carry "CGHS" (cooperative group housing society) or "welfare" in their names. Some of the larger ones, as listed there:

• HBH Galaxy Apartments: 256 units on 13 acres, with three-bedroom flats of 1,750 to 2,550 sq ft.
• Millenium Bajrang Society: 102 units on 2 acres, three-bedroom flats of about 2,650 sq ft.
• Bhawna Apartment: 48 four-bedroom flats on half an acre.
• AWHO Sujjan Vihar: an Army Welfare Housing Organisation project with units of 1,475 to 3,500 sq ft, according to its Square Yards page.
• Smaller societies: Seekers Welfare Apartments, Surya CGHS, Tarika CGHS and The 4 Aces CHS appear on the same list.

A society flat changes the paperwork, because your dealings run through the society office as well as the owner. Before you sign, ask the owner for the society's tenant form, any move-in charge, the parking arrangement and the office's working hours, and get them in writing. If the society cannot show written rules, note what the office tells you and the name of the person who said it.

How much is the rent?

It varies from a room to a society flat. NoBroker showed 202 owner listings for Sector 43 on 5 November 2026, with single rooms the largest group (68 or more), then three-bedroom homes (47 or more), one-bedroom (40 or more), two-bedroom (29 or more) and four-bedroom (20 or more). Most first-page listings were Sushant Lok floors, and their asks were:

Society flats are listed separately. Square Yards' AWHO Sujjan Vihar page gives three-bedroom rents from about Rs 70,000, and its sector overview gives monthly asks from about Rs 22,800 up to about Rs 3.5 lakh across all home types. Ask whether society maintenance is in the rent or billed separately.

Which metro line will you use?

The one on your side. The sector lies between two lines, and the straight-line distances on OpenStreetMap show how much the answer changes:

So a family in the Power Grid township reaches the Yellow Line, and Delhi, without changing trains, while a family near Golf Course Road walks to the Sector 42-43 station, open since April 2017, and changes at Sikanderpur, about 3 km north of the sector's centre. OpenStreetMap also marks bus stops called Gold Souk, Sector 43/Sector 44 (A) and Sector 42/43 Metro Station; we could not confirm their routes.

Which police station takes your tenant form?

PS Sushant Lok, for nearly all of the sector. On the East zone jurisdiction page of Gurugram Police, dated 22 April 2024, that station holds Sectors 42, 43, 44 and 52, Sushant Lok's C and D blocks, Vyapar Kendra, Maple Heights, Gold Souk and Harijan Colony. The exception is Sushant Lok's A and B blocks, which go to PS DLF Sector 29. If your address says "Sushant Lok 1" without a block letter, find out the block first. Where are schools and hospitals?

Inside the sector or just across its edge. For schools, the CBSE record for Amity International School, in the Power Grid township, shows:

• affiliation number 530460, senior secondary level;
• founded in 2003, with its first opening recorded as 1 April 2009;
• a current affiliation period that began on 1 April 2025 and ends on 31 March 2030.

OpenStreetMap also places Excelsior American School about 0.4 km from the centre point and Ambience Public School about 0.85 km away; we did not check their boards. The schools inside Sushant Lok 1's C Block are listed in our Sushant Lok 1 guide.

For hospitals, straight-line distances from the same point are about 0.5 km to Paras Health in C Block, 0.8 km to Arihant Hospital, 1.2 km to SCI Hospital, and about 1.3 km each to Fortis Memorial Research Institute and Max Hospital. For shopping, Gold Souk mall is about 0.8 km away, Global Foyer about 1.1 km and Galleria Market in DLF Phase 4 about 1.4 km.

Will there be building work nearby?

Yes, on at least one plot. Square Yards lists Godrej Miraya in Sector 43 as under construction, with 248 homes on about 5.2 acres and possession given as September 2031. If you will work from home, ask which way your windows face and whether a site sits across the road. What goes on your first-month list?

• To do: The society or block name written next to "Sector 43" on the lease
• To do: The society's tenant form, move-in charge and office hours, in writing
• To do: Tenant verification filed with the right station, and the receipt kept
• To do: Your metro line chosen and a card bought for each commuter
• To do: A hospital picked and its emergency number saved on every phone
• To do: Parking sticker or slot confirmed before the car arrives
• To do: One PIN, from a delivered bill, used for bank and delivery apps

What will the move into Sector 43 cost?

Radhe Shyam, who owns the business, fixed indicative bands in October 2026. If the old home is also in Gurgaon, expect a quote inside Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000 for three bedrooms, inside Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,500 for two and inside Rs 4,500 to Rs 7,000 for one. Coming from Delhi, the matching ranges are Rs 14,000 to Rs 16,500, Rs 10,000 to Rs 13,500 and Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000; coming from Noida, Rs 14,000 to Rs 18,500, Rs 10,000 to Rs 14,000 and Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000. A tower flat with a booked service lift and a walk-up Sushant Lok floor can land at opposite ends of the same band, and larger homes are priced after a survey.
