A home move within or near Cyber City is priced on our October 2026 within-Gurgaon ranges, which run from Rs 4,500 (smallest 1 BHK) to Rs 15,000 (largest 3 BHK), with a 2 BHK between Rs 8,000 and Rs 12,500. An office move inside Cyber City has no fixed range, because the desk count, the IT load and the goods-lift slot your building grants decide the crew and the hours, so we quote it after a walk-through.

Nobody lives on the campus itself, so "near Cyber City" usually means the homes around it: rental floors and PG rooms in DLF Phase 3, flats and floors in DLF Phase 2, and single rooms in Nathupur. For the office service and the campus layout, see our Cyber City packers and movers page. This post deals with money, time and access.

How much does shifting in or near Cyber City cost?

The home figures below are what we quote before a survey whenever both addresses are in Gurgaon; our Gurgaon city page carries the same October 2026 table.

Home size Range (Oct 2026) Typical near Cyber City What pushes it up
1 BHK or room Rs 4,500–7,000 A Phase 3 rental floor or a Nathupur room A third- or fourth-floor walk-up, or a lane the truck cannot enter
2 BHK Rs 8,000–12,500 A Phase 2 floor or a small flat Wardrobes to dismantle; a long carry to the nearest wide road
3 BHK Rs 12,000–15,000 A family floor or a larger flat Two lift bookings, or a stair carry for a heavy piece

On the same October 2026 list, a car travelling with the household costs Rs 9,000–11,500 for distances within 50 km, while a motorcycle or scooter is Rs 3,000–7,000. Our Gurgaon charges guide sets these local ranges beside the intercity ones.

For an office we publish no range at all. A five-desk team and a two-floor tenant can sit in the same building, so a per-seat figure would mislead you. The quote follows a walk-through and is written against the items and the slot.

Why is a Cyber City office move quoted only after a survey?

Because the building, not the distance, sets most of the cost. Many moves here are short: one numbered building to another, or across NH-48 to Udyog Vihar. DLF's leasing page describes about 15 million sq ft of space on 125 acres, in buildings known mostly by number, such as 6, 7A, 7B, 9A, 9B and 10, so two ends of a move can be a few hundred metres apart and still need very different crews.

At the walk-through we record:

  • To do: Workstations, cabins, meeting-room tables and storage units, counted by floor
  • To do: Screens, desktops, printers, servers and network racks, and who disconnects them
  • To do: Files and archive boxes, cabinet by cabinet
  • To do: The goods lift at each building: car size, door width and who runs it
  • To do: The loading point at each end, and the walk from it to the lift
  • To do: The slot each facility desk will grant, and whether it can run over two evenings

Each line changes the number of hands or hours. A rack of servers needs fewer people than fifty chairs but more care, while a slot squeezed into one evening needs more crew than the same load spread over three.

What uses up crew hours on a Cyber City move?

Waiting, more than carrying. The usual causes:

  • A shared goods lift. Every tenant in a tower relies on the same service lift for deliveries, housekeeping and moves. If your booking is for two hours, the crew is sized so the floor clears in two hours.
  • The walk to the truck. Where goods go out through a basement or a service area, cartons travel by trolley from lift to vehicle. A long ramp adds trips.
  • Slot start times. Facility desks often prefer evenings and Saturdays, when lobbies are quiet. A crew that arrives early still cannot start, so we time arrival to the minute the slot opens.
  • City windows for commercial vehicles. Commercial vehicles may not enter designated areas during the morning window (8–10 am) or the evening one (5–9 pm), according to the Digi Pass note Gurugram Traffic Police published on GMDA's server. A truck booked for an evening slot is therefore brought in before 5 pm, or the load is done on a Saturday daytime slot.
  • Our own hours. Our crews are out from 8 am until 9 pm, Monday through Saturday, and the office shuts on Sundays. A building that permits moves on Sundays alone needs flagging at the survey.

Holiday curbs matter too. Ahead of Republic Day 2026, medium and heavy goods vehicles could not enter Gurugram or Delhi between the evening of 22 January and early afternoon the next day, nor over a similar spell on 25–26 January, and trucks were turned away at junctions including Shankar Chowk, according to a Dynamite News report of 22 January 2026. We avoid those dates for any Cyber City load.

What should you ask about the goods lift?

The goods lift is the one piece of the building every carton passes through, so pin it down in writing before the quote is final.

Question for the facility desk Why it matters to the quote
Which lift is the goods lift, and what are its car and door sizes? A conference table or a server rack that will not fit has to be taken apart, which adds hours
Is it held for your move, or shared with other tenants during the slot? A shared lift means the crew stands idle between trips
Does the building pad the lift walls, or should the crew bring sheets? Padding is quick; arguing about scuffs afterwards is not
Who operates the lift, and until what time? If the operator leaves at 9 pm, so does the last carton
Can goods use the passenger lifts at all? Usually not, so plan as if only one lift is available

For a home near Cyber City the questions are simpler but the answer often reads "no lift". Rental floors in DLF Phase 3 are usually walk-ups, so the crew plans for stairs and the quote reflects it.

What building permissions does an office move need?

Each building issues its own pass, and the tenant asks for it. Nothing campus-wide is published by DLF on this, so treat the list below as the questions to put to your facility desk, not as a rulebook:

  1. A goods-movement or material-out pass. Your admin team raises it, usually with a list of what is leaving the floor.
  2. Crew and vehicle details. We send the names, the truck's registration and a supervisor's phone number the same day you ask.
  3. A slot at both ends. When the destination is a different building on the campus, or DLF Square, which DLF places in Sector 25 beside Cyber City, both facility desks need the same date.
  4. Asset clearance where it applies. DLF markets space here as both SEZ and non-SEZ. If your floor is in an SEZ, your compliance team clears the assets before we book the truck.

Ask how far ahead each desk wants the request; a week or two leaves room for a form to come back with questions.

Where does the truck stand?

At the loading point the building names, at the booked time, and nowhere else. DLF describes a campus road network of 16 signal-free lanes with six underpasses and more than 22,000 parking spaces, but a route open to cars is not always open to a truck. Ask the facility desk:

  • To do: Which gate and underpass lead to your building's goods entry
  • To do: The height clearance on any basement ramp, so we choose between one large truck and two smaller ones
  • To do: Whether the truck can stay at the loading point for the whole slot, or must leave and return

For homes nearby the picture changes. DLF Phase 3's inner lanes are narrow, so a light vehicle loads at the door and, if needed, shuttles to a bigger truck on a wider road. NoBroker's page on Nathupur, which sits in Sector 24 on the Udyog Vihar boundary, lists mostly single rooms, one-bedroom flats and PGs, which suit the same light vehicle. Staff who come in by train can reach most buildings from the Rapid Metro loop, whose stations, per Wikipedia, include Cyber City itself, Belvedere Towers and Moulsari Avenue, so the new office does not need a car park full of private cars on day one.

Moving home near Cyber City at short notice

Some moves near Cyber City are not planned at all. In June 2026 the Department of Town and Country Planning sealed unauthorised PGs and a hotel along Nathupur Road in DLF Phase 3, and The Tribune reported on 18 June that residents said they had no time to remove belongings. Four days later the paper reported the drive paused for a week so tenants could relocate.

If you rent in a building that may be next, a few steps keep a rushed move cheap:

  • To do: Keep a list of what you own in the room, with photos of anything costly
  • To do: Pack books, clothes and kitchen items early; one carton at a time is easier than one night
  • To do: Ask the landlord in writing when the deposit will be returned
  • To do: Line up the next address before the notice period ends, or book storage for the gap

Our branch is in V Block of DLF Phase 3, so a room move there, booked a few days ahead, can usually be done in a morning. For the wider area, our DLF phases and Cyber City guide explains the housing in each phase, and the DLF Phase 3 page covers its lanes.

How can you keep the quote near the lower end?

  • To do: Get the goods-lift booking in writing at both ends, with the times
  • To do: Have IT disconnect and back up machines before the crew arrives
  • To do: Clear old files and furniture first; anything going to a recycler is kept apart
  • To do: Choose a slot that runs over two evenings and a Saturday rather than one long night
  • To do: For homes, measure the stair turns and tell us about any piece that has to come down whole

Offices are handled by our office relocation team, homes by household shifting. When you have the slot and the item list, send them to us for a written quote.

Please read this as general information. The prices are indicative October 2026 bands rather than a quote, and building procedures or police orders may have moved on by your date, so check with your facility desk and the traffic police first.
